This video, found on the website for the San Francisco Globe, has me stunned. I'll freely admit that I tend to complain that life is too hard sometimes. I often find myself angry or depressed that I don't have a steady job, or any sort of income, or a place to call my own, or a girlfriend, or anything that is defined as "normal." Well, I went to the website following the link to a different video. And found this one in the suggestions. All I can say is, PRAISE GOD that I have what I have. Anytime you feel down or angry at the hand you've been dealt, just remember......it's not what you HAVE, simply how you look at it and what you do with it!

I am constantly amazed by God. Time and again He is confirming that my season for healing has come. Not only has He provided the possibility of going to school, but He is placing people-specifically strong, Christian men, into my life so that they can begin mentoring me in the ways of being a man, and show me what that looks like. So today my video is by Laura Story, entitled, "Indescribable." The link is here. I hope you enjoy it! for me it expresses the fact that God is truly "indescribable!"

Here is another video for you, a Casting Crowns video called "Who am I?" It asks that most basic of questions: Who am I that the Creator of the universe cares for and loves me more than I love myself?
I hope this video speaks to you like it has to me!

Let me just say, God is awesome. He has been confirming over and over that this is my season to move forward. I fill out my FAFSA, and I'm eligible for around $15,000 in financial aid. I go to a bible study, and find an all natural replacement to the three medicines that I'm already taking. Plus it keep me sleeping like a rock. So I fully believe that this is my season to move forward, and to head for the highest goals.

Today finds me, once again, on YouTube (gotta love that site) and I found a video by K-LOVE of Chris Tomlin in their studios, performing a live, acoustic version of "Whom Shall I Fear". This song tells us that if God is for us, who can be against us?

Another good one to listen to is the song "Words" by Hawk Nelson. Always remember, your tongue is the most dangerous instrument in your body. James 3:1-12 tells about this part of the body. The tongue can lift you up or tear you down, so be very, very careful.....

So I was on YouTube (again) and found this one by Phil Wickham, called "Carry My Soul". I'll let you decide what you think of it. But for me? It says that I have nothing to fear after death. Like, Phil says, I want to just run up to the Father and crawl up into His lap, forever.

What an awesome study we had last night at the Covington's! Thanks to Mrs. Caroline, we studied, in general, the fruits of the spirit.

Today, though, I find myself drawn to a song that is one I find speaks to me, saying that no matter what, Christ will always, always, love me, no matter what. The name if the song is "The Harlot" by Misty Edwards, from  the Kansas City International House of Prayer. Here's the link! (note: it's 19+ minutes, but so, so worth it!)

Today finds me waiting on the Lord. I have an incredible opportunity to go to get a certification in Medical Billing, but I must be patient and wait for approval from those who would pay for it. I was supposed to find out this time last week, but it is becoming more and more clear that the Lord is teaching me patience. It's not fun, especially in a world geared to instant gratification, and when you have lived that way much too long. But God never makes mistakes, and He knows what he is doing. So I must simply listen to Him and learn the lesson He is trying to teach me.
